We process the information you provide via the wizard (personal master data, residence circumstances, language skills, financial situation, family details, and, where applicable, criminal-law information), the documents you upload, and technical connection data to operate the website.
03Legal basis
Processing takes place for the performance of the contract (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO), for the fulfillment of legal obligations (lit. c) and on the basis of your consent (lit. a) for special categories of personal data (Art. 9).
04Retention period
Application data is deleted 90 days after delivery, unless commercial-law retention obligations require otherwise. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
05Recipients
Stripe (payment processing), Hetzner Online GmbH (hosting in Germany), Postmark (transactional email). DSGVO-compliant data-processing agreements are in place with all processors.
06Encryption
All personal data is AES-GCM encrypted in the database. Transmission is exclusively via TLS 1.3 with HSTS preload.
07Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Complaints may be filed with the State Commissioner for Data Protection NRW.
