Municipal specialist systems (Fachverfahren).
civitas. hands over Einbürgerungsanträge directly into the Fachverfahren used by your municipality. No double entry, no manual transfer. The common platforms of the larger federal states are supported; rare systems on request.
Interface to the Bavarian Einbürgerung-Fachverfahren (specialised naturalisation procedure system) is technically specified. A productive connection requires a licensing agreement with AKDB AöR — contract negotiations are ongoing.
Interface to the widely used Fachverfahren in Baden-Württemberg. Integration specification available; vendor agreement in preparation.
Municipal administration software with an Einbürgerung module. Deployed in a three-digit number of German municipalities. The adapter is in the contracting phase.
The DMS of many municipalities. Applications and attachments are automatically filed in the correct case. Rule-based filing strategies possible. Standard interface, technically proven.
For authorities with dedicated Citrix environments, we offer an HTTPS bridge to provide civitas. data without direct end-device access.
If your municipality uses a different Fachverfahren (specialised procedure), we evaluate the integration on request. Typical effort ranges from 4 to 12 weeks.
Official registers.
For an Einbürgerung (naturalisation), data from several official registers is required — for example, the erweitertes Führungszeugnis (extended certificate of conduct) from the Bundeszentralregister (Federal Central Register). civitas. submits these requests automatically and transfers the results directly into the application.
civitas. guides applicants through the online application to the Bundesamt für Justiz (Federal Office of Justice). The citizen applies themselves via the BfJ portal using the Online-Ausweisfunktion (eID); civitas. supplies the structured input data and step-by-step instructions.
Federally standardized online authentication via the electronic ID card. Significantly speeds up the process — in-person appointments may no longer be needed.
Extended Melderegisterauskunft (extended residents’ register information, § 44 BMG) based on the applicant’s explicit consent. Adapter implementation per municipality, as no federally uniform private access to residents’ registers exists.
OZG & gateway.
The Online Access Act (OZG) obliges authorities to accept digital applications. FIT-Connect is the nationwide standard gateway for this. civitas. is registered as a sender and can submit applications to any naturalization authority connected to FIT-Connect.
civitas. is registered as a sender in the FIT-Connect network. Applications can be sent encrypted to all FIT-Connect-connected recipients in the municipal network, provided the respective authority has enabled Einbürgerung (naturalization) as a procedure.
For authorities with XTA-based infrastructure we provide an adapter that translates civitas. applications into the OSCI-compliant format.
Integration with the Federal Administration Portal for authentication and access to linked citizen services during the application process.
Kanzleisysteme.
Partner Kanzleien (law firms) integrate civitas. into their existing workflows — from mandate creation and communication with authorities to billing. The common Kanzlei systems of the German legal profession are supported.
Export of invoices and commission statements in DATEV format. Accounting entries with cost centres and tax assignments. Standard interface, technically proven.
Mandate data synchronization with RA-MICRO. Creating Mandate (mandate) records from civitas. referrals, bidirectional status feedback. Integration specification is ready; partner program under clarification.
The special electronic lawyers' mailbox (beA) is legally reserved for lawyers (§ 31a BRAO — Federal Lawyers' Act). civitas. prepares pleadings in a structured format; dispatch is handled by the partner law firm from their own legal software (e.g. RA-MICRO, Advolux).
Mandate handover and billing integration with Advolux. For Kanzleien (law firms) that use Advolux instead of RA-MICRO. Vendor agreement in preparation.
Automated generation of firm-specific pleadings from civitas. client data. For firms with high template demand.
For rarer law firm products, we evaluate integration on request. Direct contact with the manufacturers to clarify interface specifications.
Counselling & funding.
Accredited migration counselling centres use civitas. free of charge under the funding tariff. The reporting and administrative interfaces required for BAMF funding are fully integrated.
Preparation of quarterly and annual reports for the BAMF as print- and upload-ready files. Manual upload to BERTA-Web by the counselling centre — no public live API to BAMF exists.
Single sign-on integration with identity systems from AWO, Caritas, Diakonie, DRK, and Paritätischer. Standard protocol, configurable per identity provider.
Review of Zuwendungsbescheid (grant decisions) from state ministries for automatic assignment to the funding tier. For integration advisory centres without BAMF funding.
Payment & auth.
For private customers, payment is processed via PCI-DSS-compliant providers with German hosting. Authentication is passwordless via Magic Links, optionally with social login.
PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Supports credit card, SEPA direct debit, Sofortüberweisung (instant bank transfer). Fraud prevention via Radar, 3-D-Secure for European cards.
Dispatch of magic links, invoices and notifications. High delivery rate, detailed delivery telemetry, dedicated IPs.
In-house infrastructure for passwordless sign-in via email link. Session tokens with 30-day lifetime, revocable, single-device mode configurable.
Optionally, users can sign in with their Google account. The email address is used only for account identification, no further data.
Alternative to Google login. Especially convenient for iOS users. Honours the Apple standard with Hide-My-Email option.
