Abolished · shortened period for integration achievements
The shortened period of 3 years for "special integration achievement" (§ 10 Abs. 3 StAG, former version) applied only from 27 June 2024 to 29 October 2025 and was abolished without replacement effective 30 October 2025. A naturalization after 3 years is now only possible for spouses of German citizens under § 9 StAG.
