Changing answers afterwards

How to return to an earlier step and correct your entries.

A typo in a name, a wrong date, an entry you would like to reconsider: no problem. You can correct your answers in the wizard at any time before your application is generated.

Returning to an earlier step

The wizard does guide you through the sections in sequence, but it does not tie you to that. Via the navigation or the sidebar you can jump back to a step you have already filled out, change the entry in question, and then continue. Your remaining entries are preserved in the process.

This is how you proceed:

  • Open the step you want to change via the navigation.
  • Adjust the entry.
  • Return to the point where you continue working.

The "Please review" step

Before your application is finally generated, there is the "Please review" step. There you see your details once more in an overview. This is your last checkpoint: go through the details calmly and correct whatever is not yet right before you proceed to "Generate application".

Take some time for the review step. Here small mistakes stand out that would otherwise be carried over into the finished PDF.

After generating

The authority-ready PDF is created only in the "Generate application" step. As long as you have not yet completed this step, all details can be freely adjusted. So deliberately use the review step as an opportunity to check everything one last time.

In brief

  • Via the navigation you can return to earlier steps at any time.
  • Changes overwrite only the entry in question; the rest is preserved.
  • The "Please review" step is your last checkpoint before generating.

How the sections are structured overall is shown in The wizard's steps at a glance. What happens with the PDF afterwards is described under PDF export and download.
