civitas. launches Fördertarif (subsidized rate) for non-profit migration counseling
Discounted conditions for non-profit Träger (sponsoring organizations) of migration counseling — details on request.
Civitas UG is expanding its cooperation offering for non-profit migration counseling. With a Fördertarif (subsidized rate), non-profit-recognized Träger (sponsoring organizations) of migration counseling receive discounted conditions for access to the civitas. platform. The specific arrangement and volume are agreed on a case-by-case basis.
Who it is for
The offer is aimed at sponsoring organizations of migration counseling that are recognized as non-profit under § 52 der Abgabenordnung (Section 52 of the German Fiscal Code) — such as counseling centers of the welfare associations, independent sponsoring organizations, and non-profit associations. Proof is regularly provided by the Freistellungsbescheid (exemption notice) of the competent tax office. The specific design of the subsidized rate depends on the size of the organization, the number of advice-seekers supported per year, and the desired range of functions. Binding conditions are agreed in writing on a case-by-case basis.
Range of functions
Platform access includes the complete application wizard in six languages — German, English, Turkish, Arabic, Russian, and Ukrainian — as well as the municipally adapted document checklist and the authority-ready application PDF in accordance with the Staatsangehörigkeitsgesetz (Nationality Act). A multi-tenant counselor layer makes it possible to put several employees of an organization into productive use without data being mixed between sponsoring organizations or individual case files. Data processing takes place exclusively on infrastructure in Germany; the platform is set up DSGVO-compliant.
Distinction from legal advice
civitas. is a technical tool for structured application preparation, not legal advice within the meaning of the Rechtsdienstleistungsgesetz (Legal Services Act). The platform supports the capture of relevant facts and the generation of the authority-ready application; the legal assessment in the individual case — including discretionary constellations, special biographical cases, objection proceedings, or transitional cases under § 40a StAG — remains within the respective counseling mandate of the migration counseling center and, where applicable, of the engaged legal representation.
How to apply
Civitas UG accepts inquiries from interested sponsoring organizations directly via the contact form for counseling centers — available at civitas. Contact by selecting the category „Migrationsberatungsstelle“ (migration counseling center). An initial review of the requirements and an offer for the arrangement follow shortly after receipt. Please enclose: proof of non-profit status (exemption notice or equivalent), a brief description of the sponsoring organization and its migration-counseling activity, and details of the expected usage.
Background
Civitas UG is developing a digital layer for the German naturalization procedure that connects all groups of actors in an application — applicants, municipal Einbürgerungsbehörden (naturalization authorities), migration-law firms, and migration counseling centers. Background on the platform concept is provided by the company profile; the technical basis for counseling conversations is systematically prepared on the pillar page Requirements for naturalization.
