What the same renewal costs elsewhere
A renewal runs through the same immigration authority. The difference lies in the effort, the deadline and which documents your authority requires.

What does it cost — and what do I pay the authority?
With us: 99 € one-time, no follow-up costs. The fee charged by your Ausländerbehörde (immigration office) for the renewal is paid separately to the authority.
What happens if my permit expires before the decision?
If the application is submitted in good time before expiry, your existing permit is deemed to continue until the decision is made (§ 81 Abs. 4 AufenthG).
Which documents do I need?
Typically: passport, existing permit, evidence of income and health insurance. The questionnaire asks step by step for what your authority wants to see.
In which languages can I enter my details?
German, English, Turkish, Arabic, Russian, Ukrainian. The form for your authority is produced in German.
